St. John’s Outreach Group has continued to pursue an array of projects to help those less fortunate. Now we are doing our “12 Days of Christmas” collection to provide wine for the four rural parishes in Kenya served by Fr. Jesse Mwaniki, who attended St. John’s while studying in Springfield some years ago. You are encouraged to mark each day of this season by donating bills or coins in the number of that day. Our congregation again provided “baskets” (trunk-loads) of food and other basic household needs to three very appreciative area families. Individuals supplied various items and cash was contributed for the lastminute purchase of perishable food.
