The Twelve Days of Christmas collection for communion wine for Fr. Jesse’s four rural parishes in Kenya gathered the targeted $1000 in greatly appreciated funding.
As Lent begins, we are again supporting one of the Episcopal Relief and Development’s international efforts. ERD is working with local communities to help them establish nourishing crop sources for their families in a manner that is sustainable over the long term. This project is “Seeds, Tools, and Training.” A Share in this effort costs $45, an amount we hope many of us will be able to contribute. To provide information and encouragement, Outreach plans to furnish the February 18 coffee hour refreshments.
It is a true blessing that our parish steps forward to help those in need whenever possible!
