We welcome all who seek a deeper relationship with God and a faith community in which to grow.

For those new to the Christian faith: If you have never been baptized, our Rector will guide you through a period of study and preparation for this important step. Baptisms are typically celebrated on special feast days: The Great Vigil of Easter, The Feast of Pentecost, All Saints’ Sunday, and The Baptism of Our Lord (the first Sunday after the Epiphany).

For those from other Christian traditions: If you have already been baptized and have been active in another Christian tradition, we invite you to learn more about the Episcopal Church before formally joining. The Rector offers a class for all adult inquirers, usually in the weeks leading up to the Bishop’s visit. During the Bishop’s visit, adults may reaffirm their baptismal vows and receive the laying on of hands as a sign of commitment to living out their faith within the Episcopal Church.

For those transferring from another Episcopal parish: If you are already an Episcopalian and wish to make Saint John’s your church home, we encourage you to contact the Rector. We will request a letter of transfer from your previous parish, after which your membership will be recorded in our parish register.

Wherever you are on your journey of faith, we welcome you with open hearts. If you have questions or would like to explore membership further, please reach out to the Rector—we look forward to walking this path with you.
